The Associated General Contractors of Tennessee, Middle Tennessee Branch is a nonprofit trade association that provides our membership with a wide range of services and benefits designed to support professional construction firms in their pursuit of excellence. These awards strive to recognized General Contractor, Architect, Engineer, Subcontractor, Supplier and Service Provider members for their outstanding performances on some of our state’s most noteworthy construction projects.

The purpose of the Urban Land Institute Excellence in Development Awards is to celebrate excellence in development and design, recognize successful collaboration among development partners, and acknowledge the importance of strong communities. The winning projects were recognized for innovation in land use and design, design excellence, contribution to the community, reflection of the regional or neighborhood character, public/private partnership, environmental sensitivity, and financial viability.

2011

The Governor’s Award of Excellence honors Tennessee employers and employees who meet a required number of hours without workplace injuries serious enough to cause an employee to miss a day of work or restrict normal job activities. The number of hours required is based on the size of the company.
