Montgomery Bell Academy, a preparatory school for boys grades 7-12 in Nashville, TN, celebrated the re-opening of the Davis Building and the renovation of their Arts Center. MBA’s Arts Program has seen growth in the number of students it serves, and the expansion of the facilities needed to keep the program up-to-date. Brad Gioia, MBA’s Headmaster, explains that “it is critical that our boys have that well-roundedness, that they become men and citizens who appreciate all the arts,” and these renovations will certainly create an environment for that appreciation to grow and flourish.

The Parent Company was selected to lead the Hastings Architecture Associates-designed renovation which included the demolition of existing areas, a new HVAC system, re-roofing, and a complete overhaul of the current Arts Center. All of this work needed to be performed while students were on their summer break, and finished by the time students returned in August. This restricted construction schedule was met with excellence from the entire project team which included companies such as Lee Company, RSS Roofing Services, Demo Plus, Travis Electric, and Steve Ward & Associates.
