“[The Parent Company] skillfully facilitated a smooth transition from design conversations to the realities of construction and developing timelines… [Bill Caruso] truly became part of our ASC family; we didn’t want to give him back to TPC when the project ended.”

– Susan Duvenhage, President & CEO of Adventure Science Center

The Adventure Science Center is one of Nashville’s premier not-for-profit educational institutions. Its most recent growth phase included the expansion of the sky and space wing and the construction of the Sudekum Planetarium. The Parent Company was selected as the CM/GC for this truly unique project. The project consisted of state-of-the-art projection and sound theater, “Space Chase” exhibit area, and required renovations in the existing building. All work was performed while the facility was in full use.

  • Active Facility The Adventure Science Center remained open during construction which required constant and clear communication with Adventure Science Center’s staff. Work was also performed adjacent to an active children’s science center and required background checks on all employees on the jobsite. In order to keep the facility appear as ‘business as usual’ to visitors permanent looking dust walls were installed. There were no visitor complaints during the construction.
