“The 1st mixed use loft project in the Nashville Gulch, Mercury View is a landmark project for Nashville.”

– Manuel Zeitlin Architects

MarketStreet Enterprises and Armistead Barkley chose to partner with The Parent Company as they began the development of The Gulch in Nashville. Mercury View Lofts was the first mixed-use development in The Gulch. This pioneer project blended old and new by renovating a warehouse to be used for retail and adding a structure on top for the residential units.

The addition of a structure on top the existing warehouse was especially complex. The Parent Company used our own forces to construct new foundations. These new foundations supported and re-framed the warehouse and allowed for the new structure penetrations.

  • Superstructure The biggest hurdle for this project was providing foundation and structural framing inside the existing brick and wood framed warehouse that would also support a 3-story addition above the existing structure.
  • Pioneer Project This was the first mixed-use loft project in The Gulch.
  • Mixed-use property
  • Renovation of warehouse into retail space
  • 32 residential units
  • 5-story building
  • Construction of superstructure to support residential units
  • General Contracting Services
  • Pre-Construction
