Hawkins Field is the home of the Vanderbilt Commodores, and is one of the top college baseball parks in the country. Vanderbilt hired The Parent Company to build their first baseball-only facility over multiple phases. Hawkins Field features a classic ballpark atmosphere with 3,000 chairback seats and a state-of-the-art press box. The Hawkins Field Fieldhouse is a two-story complex that houses locker rooms, classrooms, coaches’s offices, and a Hall of Fame to celebrate the baseball program’s achievements.

The Parent Company’s experience with phased construction allowed the construction to progress smoothly without interrupting Vanderbilt’s athletic programs.

  • Phased Construction The Parent Company provided scheduling assistance to allow for phasing the improvements around the various sports activities
  • Athletics Schedule Vanderbilt wanted to keep disruptions to the Athletics Program to a minimum. The Parent Company scheduled the construction during the off seasons to allow for continued play. The baseball program’s schedules were not the only ones affected since the football and basketball programs shared part of the facility as well.
