“TPC’s ability to identify potential challenges in advance and come to the table with options and solutions is a quality that I place a high value on. This approach provides for an environment of collaboration and teamwork that is essential to delivering a project on schedule and on budget.”

– Chuck Gannaway, Hastings Architecture

Virginia Springs 1 is a 4-story, 113,000 sf office building located in the last greenfield parcel in Maryland Farms’ business district. The project stayed under budget and on schedule despite a delayed start. Careful coordination and clear communication made Virginia Springs 1 a success.

  • Final Undeveloped Site
The 14 acres at Virginia Way was the final undeveloped land
  • Challenging Access
The building footprint was within 12′ of the retaining wall along the edge of 2 ponds.
  • Delayed Start, Stayed on Schedule
The client had negotiated a tenant construction start date prior to obtaining a building permit from the City of Brentwood. Despite being delayed from starting the project for 2 months due to permitting issues, TPC was able to modify the construction sequence to turn over the 2 promised floors by the negotiated start date.
