Lincoln Property Company, property managers of the Fifth Third Center in downtown Nashville, decided to renovate the Class A office tower’s outdoor plaza. The Parent Company has enjoyed a long relationship with the building manager, and after a competitive bid process, was selected to manage the renovation. The 12,000 sf project included demolition, new waterproofing, new modern pavers, and cutting edge lighting with color temperature controls.

The project required closing off main entrances to the Fifth Third Center office building and Starbucks which presented the construction team with finding ways to maintain some access to each. Phased coordination allowed access while sections were closed off until they were completed. Lincoln Property was satisfied with this solution as it allowed Fifth Third Plaza’s tenants and customers access into the building throughout construction and minimized disruption to their daily activities. Numerous changes to the site plan was another challenge that was handled with clear communication with the project team and Owner.

  • Maintiaing Access Work was done outside of a busy downtown office tower. Project required maintaining access to the office space and a Starbucks.
  • Safety of Employees & Pedestrians Safety of all on the active campus was priority number one.
